Introduction
The SmartCast Touchscreen provides the Cadiant Dynamic Skylight system a scene controller capability . The SmartCast Touchscreen ships with a collection of default scenes as guidelines for user creation. The Settings screens provide tools for creating user-defined scenes.
Default Scenes
The SmartCast Touchscreen ships with a collection of default scenes as guidelines for user creation. Here is a listing of the parameters for each default scene.
Scene Parameters
- Brightness: Sun Panel Dimming Level (%)
- Color: Sun Panel CCT Level (K)
- Sky: Sky Panel Toggle (ON / OFF)
- Sky Color: Sky Panel Intensity Level (%)
- Sun Position: Sun Panel Intensity Distribution (% and Direction East / West)

Steps to Create a Scene
To create a new scene for the Cadiant system using the SmartCast Touchscreen:
1 Press the Settings button to open the Settings menu. | ||
2 Enter the 6-digit PIN to access the Settings menu. | ||
3 Open the Scenes Control page from the Settings menu. | ||
4 Press the New Scene button. | ||
5 Enter a name for the scene. | ||
6 Press the Add Zone button to select the zone that will use the scene. | ||
7 Select the Zone for the scene and press Add Zone to configure the zone. | ||
8 Use the controls to configure the zone and save the configuration. | ||
9 Press the Create Scene button to complete the scene creation. | ||
10 Exit out of the Scene Controls page and the Settings page. | ||
11 Verify that the Scene is correct. |
